The DPA 4166-OL-F-F00-ME's sensitivity is 6mV/Pa which matches the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. The noise floor of the Type 4166 is 26 dB(A) re. 20 µPa and if powered correctly the microphone will be capable of handling the sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs. A wide range of connection adapters is making it possible to use the 4166 with most of the professional wireless systems available plus 48 V phantom XLR connection.
With wireless adapters for wireless systems available from from DPA (sold separately), the users can get simple, affordable, and flexible options to use with the MicroDot termination.
