The black DPA 4061 CORE Low-Sensitivity Omni Lavalier Microphone with Instrument Accessories Kit (DPA KIT-4061-OC-IMK) is a professionally designed flexible, discreet microphone solution aimed at production companies and project studios who seeks a flexible microphone system for on-stage and in-studio events. At the very center of the kit is a carefully created moisture-resistant, miniature mic for use with wired or wireless systems for theatrical, broadcast, and performance applications. This configuration comes including a comprehensive set of accessories, which includes mounting options for instrument recording that comes along with protective, windscreens, and an XLR adapter cases.

The electret-condenser capsule is made capable of delivering a clear, crisp, and intelligible speech, and also the rugged yet unobtrusive design is made very well suited to the demands of professional presentations and live stage work at the same time. This version of the 4061 comes using the DPA's CORE technology for deliveirng a 4 dB increase in dynamic range and a 14 dB reduction in noise over the 4061 Legacy model.

An interchangeable High-Boost Grid is included that is capable of protecting the capsule and is altering the sonic character of the microphone, which creates a peak at 12 kHz, helpful for chest placement. Equipped with an SPL rating of 144 dB, the mic is more than capable of handling a wide variety of instruments as well as loud speakers, vocalists, and presenters—that makes it a discreet and flexible tool for use in houses of worship and live event productions.

The 4061 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector. The mic is compatible with various wireless microphone transmitters via a separately available adapter for the compatible transmitter. This instrument kit includes an XLR adapter for use with a wide variety of professional equipment. The adapter allows the mic to be powered via 12 to 48V phantom power. Also included are two clips to mount the mic to stringed instruments, a magnetic mount, a surface mount with pieces of adhesive tape, a dual-mic lapel clip, an inner plastic case, and a zippered traveling case.
