The DPA 4060 CORE+ is a miniature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for professional wireless systems and demanding applications including broadcast, live performance, theatre, presentations, houses of worship, and live event production. Its compact, unobtrusive design makes it easy to integrate into professional setups while providing the detailed sound capture expected from a high-performance miniature microphone. At its core, the 4060 CORE+ uses an electret-condenser capsule designed to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible speech. This makes it well suited to speakers, presenters, and vocalists, while its ability to handle instruments adds further flexibility for live productions and houses of worship. The microphone incorporates CORE+ technology, providing a wide dynamic range and helping to almost completely neutralise distortion at sound pressure levels up to 126 dB RMS. This allows the 4060 CORE+ to maintain a clean, crisp, and natural sonic character, including in demanding loud-stage environments. The 4060 is wired for normal sensitivity and can handle peak sound pressure levels of up to 131 dB with less than 1% distortion. This gives the microphone considerable headroom for typical speakers, vocalists, and presenters while also making it effective for capturing musical instruments.

Two interchangeable capsule protection grids are included, allowing you to alter the microphone's sonic character according to different placement positions. This provides additional flexibility when positioning the microphone for different performers or applications. The black 4060 CORE+ also features a compact MicroLock connector, providing a reliable connection and compatibility with a wide variety of wireless transmitters when used with separately available adapters.
