Pro Intercom EC2B econoCom System (2 User with Headsets)
The econoCom Systems from Production Intercom Inc. are designed representing the industry's very best value in a small production intercom system. They are made foolproof and usage is made easy; the econoCom system can’t be incorrectly hooked-up when a standard microphone cables are in use. The econoCom Headsets, Beltpacks, AC/DC Adaptor and System Interface are perfectly compatible with larger systems from Production Intercom, Inc., Clear-Com® and other popular (200 ohms - unbalanced) headset intercom systems.
econoCom Wired Systems Overview:
The econoCom system is designed as a bundles comes with included Pro Intecom's top-quality beltpacks, with complete signaling abilities and may include headsets with connectors. The specially-designed and unique power supply includes a desk-top instead of a wall plug-in AC to DC adapter. This is powering the PS4 Intercom. The PS4 is regulating, limiting and conditioning the 24VDC need by the system and providing the necessary 200W termination point. The PS4 is enclosed in the exact same durable aluminum cabinet as the BP1 beltpacks. The PS4 has 3 parallel XLR outputs which provide three beginning points for the single common circuit. The overall system, aside from the AC/DC adapter and headsets is entirely made in Pro Intercom's Unites State's facility and includes their same warranty.
FEATURES
AD2410 AC/DC Adaptor
The AD2410 AC/DC Power Adaptor provides up to 1.0A of current at a nominal 24 VDC. It is UL®, CE and CSA® approved. It's AC input is universal, operating at any voltage from 100 to 250VAC at either 50 or 60Hz. The cool running AD2410 features a removable IEC power cord and captive DC output cable with a connector compatible with the PS-4 Intercom System Interface. It has rubber feet for table-top use and can be conveniently mounted almost anywhere in a facility with velcro, tie-wraps or removable adhesive products.
PS-4 System Interface
The PS-4 System Interface provides precise voltage regulation, further smoothing of the DC current from the power supply (AC hum elimination), automatic overload/short-circuit protection and the necessary termination network for the intercom circuit. It features an LED indicator which indicates that 24VDC is being delivered, and 3 paralleled XLR jacks for connection to headset stations or strings of stations in party-line configurations.
BP-1 Beltpack / Headset Station
The BP-1 portable headset station may be worn on the belt or hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip. Soft plastic strips on the underside help hold it in place when set on top of a console. The matte black finish minimizes visibility. Frequency response has been carefully shaped to optimize both intelligibility and long-term listening comfort. A microphone limiter circuit reduces overload distortion. The high bridging impedance ensures that system and sidetone levels do not vary as other stations are switched in and out of the circuit. The top panel contains controls for switching the microphone on and off, for controlling listening level, and for signaling. They are easily identifiable by touch. A recessed, screwdriver -adjust control is provided for varying the level of the user's voice to be heard in his own earphone (Sidetone). A long-life, extremely bright, 4-segment LED serves as the signal light. The bottom panel provides a 3-pin female XLR for connection to the system; a 3-pin male XLR for looping onwards to the next station, and; a 4-pin male XLR for connection of any standard communications headset with a dynamic microphone.
SMH310 Single Muff Headset
This light, comfortable headset is equipped with high quality transducers for smooth response and pleasant listening. The soft, textured muff is removable and washable. The mechanism for adjusting size allows for a wide range and is both simple and sturdy. The microphone is mounted on a thin flexible gooseneck boom which also swivels at the ear cup and can be swung up and out of the way. This boom also allows the microphone to be adjusted very close to the mouth for situations where quiet or discrete communications are important. The thin, flexible cable does not tug on the headset and may be clipped out of the way with our optional clothing clip.
