Rational Power Management (RPM)
At the heart of the D Series stands Rational Power Management (RPM), a LAB GRUPPEN innovation empowering system designers and integrators with unprecedented control over power allocation for optimal performance under diverse load conditions. RPM not only curtails initial equipment expenses but also minimizes rack space requirements. Unlike traditional amplifiers, where over-specification for one channel often results in wasted power across others, RPM allows for dynamic power allocation among the four channels of the D 40:4L. This enables scaling up any channel as needed while efficiently distributing the remaining power to handle less demanding loads elsewhere.
CAFE for Green Credentials
The D 40:4L offers seamless configuration and monitoring through the advanced CAFE (Configuring Amplifiers For the Environment) software suite. Beyond enabling comprehensive system surveillance and RPM feature customization, CAFE introduces the Equipment Specification Predictor (ESP). This innovative tool analyzes system and load requirements to recommend ideal specifications for the D Series units, encompassing model selection, quantity needed, heat generation, channel distribution, and current draw. The outcome ensures precise mains management and accurate specifications for cooling systems and UPS, if necessary.
