LUCIA 60/2M Incorporates Ease of Install with 2 X 30 W of Decentralized Power in a Compact, Energy Star Compliant Amplifier.
Great Sound, Flexibility and Ease of Use
Lab Gruppen's revolutionary LUCIA (Localized Utility Compact Intelligent Amplification) redefines AV system design by seamlessly integrating superior audio performance and unparalleled adaptability. Its strategic placement of power, processing, control, and I/O precisely where needed revolutionizes the approach to AV setups. In numerous AV applications seeking consistent top-tier performance, LUCIA emerges as the logical, cost-effective, and scalable solution. Its decentralized approach often eliminates the complexities and added expenses tied to centralized equipment rooms, simplifying AV setups. LUCIA amplifiers amalgamate a digital, firmware-controlled front end with Lab Gruppen's robust, highly efficient output stage, elevating it to the pinnacle of compact amplifier excellence. This fusion of superior sound quality and unwavering reliability establishes LUCIA as the leading compact amplifier in its category, setting new standards for performance and dependability.
Fits in Anywhere
The LUCIA 60/2M embodies a design crafted for swift installation and effortless setup. Its included wall-mount bracket discreetly positions it behind video displays, yet its ultra-compact design ensures versatile placement. Whether nestled beside a projector or seamlessly integrated into reception counters, podiums, lecterns, or the vibrant atmosphere of a bar area, its adaptability knows no bounds. Every connection point, meticulously designed with Euroblock screw terminals and parallel unbalanced RCA connectors, ensures seamless integration. Fine-tuning becomes intuitive with front-panel potentiometers for effortless level adjustments. The amplifier's advanced circuitry acts as a safeguard, shielding both the amplifier and connected loudspeakers from potential damage due to clipping, thermal overload, or extreme low line voltage, ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted audio experience.
Integrated Mix-Matrix and DSP Front End
The LUCIA 60/2M integrates a digital front end featuring a 4 x 4 Mix Matrix and a wide array of DSP capabilities. Among its impressive features are the exclusive Automatic Dynamic Loudness Contouring (ADLCTM) and a comprehensive suite of EQ filters positioned before and after the matrix. These capabilities eliminate the requirement for external mixers and processors in various applications, resulting in significant time and cost savings. For swift setup, a software wizard streamlines the process, while an advanced editor empowers offline configuration of frequently used presets. These customized configurations can be efficiently transferred to multiple units via USB, ensuring seamless management and delivering an optimized audio experience.
Green Credentials
LUCIA amplifiers are Energy Star qualified, making them an ideal choice for installation in projects seeking energy efficient certifications. The amplifiers automatically enter standby mode after a 20 minute period with no signal input, consuming less than 1 watt. Automatic power-up occurs within two seconds after an input signal is sensed.
Third Party Control
Once installed, the LUCIA can be controlled and monitored either via GPIO or more extensively using that RS232 interface that is included. The protocol used is open and free for anyone to implement. The list of companies supporting it is growing.
Energy Star Qualified
By maintaining very low current draw during operating cycles even at high output levels, and reduced power consumption during non-operational cycles, our Energy Star qualified products harness impeccable Lab Gruppen sonic performance and robust power output while meeting the rigorous efficiency requirements of current Energy Star certification standards.
ADLC for Great Sound, Everytime
Automatic Dynamic Loudness Contouring ensures a fuller and comfortable listening experience – especially at low perceived levels. Based on industry leading technology from TC Electronic, ADLC ensures that LUCIA makes the best of what comes into the system regardless of output gain (or “volume”).
Auto Load Sense
Innovative Auto Load Sense Technology which detects the impedance load on each channel and self-configures for optimal performance, allowing it to deliver maximum power output on all loads from 2-8 ohms. This means a single LUCIA amplifier can be used to effectively drive up to 16 loudspeakers (if 16 ohm devices, 8 per channel).
Low Impedance Amplification
There are many advantages to Lo-Z audio systems compared to constant voltage ‘distributed systems’. LUCIA harnesses all of these to give you the best sounding solution in the most cost-efficient package: Better sound, improved LF performance, save cost on loudspeakers without transformers and no need for long cable runs or conduit.
