The DPA 4061 CORE+ is a miniature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for professional wireless systems and demanding applications including broadcast, live performance, theatre, presentations, houses of worship, and live event production. Its rugged yet unobtrusive design makes it well suited to professional live-stage environments where reliable, discreet microphone placement is important. The microphone features an electret-condenser capsule designed to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible speech, making it suitable for loud speakers, vocalists, presenters, and performers. It can also be used effectively for instrument capture, giving production teams additional flexibility when one microphone needs to cover different applications. The CORE+ technology provides a wide dynamic range and helps almost completely neutralise distortion at sound pressure levels up to 133 dB. This high SPL capability helps the 4061 CORE+ maintain a clean, crisp, and natural sonic performance, even when used on loud stages.

The 4061 is wired for low sensitivity, allowing it to handle peak sound pressure levels of up to 137 dB with less than 1% distortion. This makes it particularly well suited to loud speakers, vocalists, and presenters, while its instrument-capture capability further expands its usefulness for houses of worship and live event productions. For greater placement flexibility, the 4061 CORE+ includes two interchangeable capsule-protection grids. These grids alter the microphone's sonic character, allowing you to select the configuration that provides better results for different placement positions. The microphone also features a compact and reliable MicroLock connector, which can work with a wide range of wireless transmitters when paired with separately available adapters. Power is supplied by 5–10V plug-in power from a wireless microphone transmitter, making the 4061 CORE+ suitable for integration into professional wireless microphone systems. With its miniature moisture-resistant construction, low-sensitivity capsule, 137 dB peak SPL capability, CORE+ technology, interchangeable protection grids, and MicroLock connectivity, the DPA 4061 CORE+ provides a discreet and flexible solution for capturing speech, vocals, and instruments in demanding professional environments.
