The Lectrosonics IFBT4 and IFBT4-VHF are professional wireless transmitters designed for broadcast, motion picture, theater, and stage applications where extended operating range and high-quality audio are essential. They can operate as standalone transmitters or integrate directly with compatible intercom systems. Wide frequency tuning options provide greater flexibility when coordinating frequencies in multi-channel wireless setups, helping users avoid interference from external RF sources and other wireless equipment. Microprocessor-controlled operation ensures an intuitive user experience while minimizing unwanted audio transients during power-up and shutdown. To further reduce interference during setup, the transmitters automatically mute their RF output when placed in TUNE mode, allowing frequencies to be adjusted without transmitting signals that could interfere with nearby wireless systems. The IFBT4 series is based on Lectrosonics’ Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology, providing a foundation for compatibility with future products while supporting its intended receiver ecosystem.
