The Shure BETA 98AD/C is a professionally designed cardioid condenser drum microphone and comes complete with the A98D drum mount which comes featuring a flexible gooseneck. The Beta 98A/C is made as the same microphone minus the drum mount. The Beta 98 AMP/C comes featuring an integrated preamplifier. Instrument microphone is capable of delivering a smooth and natural response, and also comes consisting of an A98D drum mount intended for securing the placement in any configuration and a uniform cardioid polar pattern designed for having an excellent gain-before-feedback and off-axis noise rejection.
