Shure has designed the GLXD2 Handheld Transmitter with SM58 Microphone Element to work with GLX-D series digital wireless systems. GLXD2/SM58 is operated on Shure's Z2 frequency band between 2400 and 2483.5 MHz on a 2.4 GHz ISM wireless band.  This transmitter provides up to a 200' range of operation and featured the Shure's LINKFREQ automatic frequency management that permits it to link automatically to a GLX-D compatible transmitter without the need to perform any other additional setup. The rechargeable battery included in GLXD2/SM58 can provide 16 hours of performance time per charge. Its battery can be recharged with the integrated charger in the GLXD4 wireless or USB charger cable.
