The Electro Voice TX1152 is a high power, high sensitivity, 2-way loudspeaker system designed capable to be used in a wide variety of applications where it is truly required of a high quality sound reinforcement in a lightweight package.

The Electro Voice TX1152 comes utilizing the DH3, a high output 1.25" titanium compression driver, that is partnered to a Constant DirectivityTM 60° x 40° horn. This combination is resulting in a smooth response to 20 kHz and excellent pattern control in applications from short to medium.

The SMX2151 is a 15" woofer has an FEA optimized magnet structure and a shorting ring designed for maximum intelligibility and ultra low distortion at high SPL levels. The crossover is using the steep 24 dB/octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in extended HF, vocal range, and a protection circuit for long-term reliability.

The Electro Voice TX1152 is equipped with a variety of features making it an equally suited for portable of fixed installation applications. The trapezoidal enclosure is made out of a combination of MDF and plywood, and coated with EVCoatTM for ultimate strength and still remains lightweight at the same time. The unique grille design is very strong, dent resistant, and features a rotatable logo. Four way handles allow for gripping the Electro Voice TX1152 in a variety of positions, a pole mount is allowing for placement on a subwoofer or a tripod. Six 3/8" threaded points allow a single Electro Voice TX1152 to be suspended in a various positions. The recessed input panel with dual NL4 connectors keeps the connectors hidden while allowing the Electro Voice TX1152 to be used with the TX1152 subwoofer for extended sub bass on a single amplifier channel, with no additional processing needed.
