QSC E118SW is a single, 800W, 18-inch, aluminum frame woofer and a high-performance direct radiation subwoofer. QSC E118SW is designed to produce crushing low-end for live performance with bass and kick-drum in the PA or for high-energy dance, high-level music. A threaded, speaker pole and M20 pole socket are provided for sub/satellite use with any of the E Series two-way models. For portable applications it includes attachment points for four optional casters. The subwoofer’s 4-ohm impedance means that by a less expensive amplifier, a single woofer can be optimally powered.

With any quality and professional power amplifier, the E Series loudspeakers will perform very well but by taking advantage and by using the complete E Series Entertainment System, there will be more options and more performance available. The powered speakers of today's trend are relying on finely tuned digital signal processing (DSP) achieving the higher level of performance. When used with a QSC TouchMix digital mixer or with PLD, QSC or GXD amplifiers, E Series loudspeakers is also taking advantage of advanced DSP. QSC has developed E Series DSP settings for all three platforms. These settings support a wide range of applications which includes stage monitoring, karaoke, live sound reinforcement (with and without subwoofers) and dance music.
