The Electro Voice ZX1I-90 is the standard of uncompromising audio performance and versatility in an easy to install compact package. The high-tech enclosure is using an injection-molded high-impact ABS resin for making the Electro Voice ZX1I-90 extremely durable. The enclosure geometry has been carefully engineered for providing the maximum rigidity and acoustic performance. The velocity compensated port design can overcome the limitation of many small cabinet loudspeakers and is enabling a exceptional low-frequency response. Two (2) rotatable horn coverage patters are available; 90° x 50° for longer throw and cluster applications, 100° x 100° for broad even dispersion. A multi-layer grille designed with a hydrophobic cloth and weatherized components is allowing both use in indoor and outdoor. An optional weatherized input panel cover with a gland nut is available for additional protection.

The installation of the Electro Voice ZX1I-90 is made easy and quick with the included QuickSAM mounting system. The QuickSAM is allowing the installer to simply snap the speaker onto the bracket, and then tighten it to desired position. For array mounting, there is an optional AB-ZE array bracket kit which is allowing a multiple units to be mounted with each other in a variety of configurations.

The ZX1i’s long excursion, high output 8 inch woofer with a weatherized treated cone delivers smooth low-frequency performance with exceptional reliability.
