NEXO ID84-T NEXO ID84, Touring Full Range Column Speaker

The ID84 is a lightweight aluminum cabinet with a solid steel spine that houses eight 4 inch drivers and an array of dome tweeters on a curved baffle. It is 150mm wide by 215mm deep by the usual 1 meter high (39.0 x 5.9 x 8.5 ) and weighs 15 kg (33 lbs). Dome tweeters are a better option than a regular HF compression driver because they produce exceptionally low distortion and offer a "hi-fi" performance that expands the ID84's usefulness beyond voice reproduction, which is the traditional column speaker duty. With a peak SPL of 136dB, the ID84 can operate in the frequency range of 90Hz to 20kHz. Instantaneous vertical HF dispersion switching is made possible by the unique directivity switch on the rear panel. Longer columns can be created by connecting cabinets "end-to-end." Deploying the ID84 in a variety of permanent installations and transportable applications is made simple by a choice of accessory options and rigging options.

Available in black, white and custom RAL colours, the touring version (ID84 T) features a steel grille and Speakon connectors.
