The Athens TCS115B-R 15" Front-Loaded Weather-Resistant Subwoofer that is professionally designed by Turbosound is carefully crafted for a wide range of fixed installation and portable PA applications. It comes in different color variants: TCS115B-R (Black) / TCS115B-R-WH (White), It is capable of providing optimal low frequency reinforcement during the time it is used in conjunction along with all TCS series loudspeakers. This IP54-rated weather-resistant subwoofer is made to be suitable for outdoor use.

The subwoofer comes featuring an enclosure that comes with a bass reflex port and a double suspension 15" low frequency driver that is capable of utilizing a specialized voice coil wound on both inside and outside of the coil former. This is resulting in higher magnetic density, better heat dissipation, higher power handling capacity, and improved efficiency. The Athens TCS115B-R is designed for providing fast and accurate transient response intended for virtually distortion-free operation even in the most demanding applications.

The subwoofer's cabinet is carefully constructed from 5/8" (15mm) birch plywood and comes including a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam. Multiple internal rigging points are made for allowing the bracket mount and suspension in many different configurations in permanent installations. An array of two or more cabinets is capable to be configured with the use of Turbosound fly plates and coupler kits (sold separately). Connectivity is provided in the form of a captive cable tail, which is designed for entering the cabinet by means of a sealed cable gland on an aluminum panel.
