The Turbosound TCX102-R is built and designed that is perfectly suited for a wide range of installed speech and music sound reinforcement applications—wether indoors or out—the Turbosound TCX102-R feature its 1,000 Watt compact 10" passive, 2-way loudspeaker. Also, this Turbosound TCX102-R has a trapezoidal enclosure housing a high-excursion 10" reflex-loaded low frequency (LF) driver with low-mass voice coil for enhanced transient response, and a 1" high temperature dome compression driver mounted on a rotatable converging elliptical waveguide, providing a 90° horizontal by 60° vertical dispersion pattern. The Turbosound TCX102-R cabinet includes internal threaded M10, M8 and M6 rigging points for use with Turbosound wall and ceiling brackets (sold separately), and provides compatibility with OmniMount loudspeaker mounting brackets (also sold separately). The Turbosound TCX102-R is built from 5/8" (15mm) birch plywood, and comes with a hard-wearing, semi-matte black textured paint. A perforated steel-mesh grille backed with reticulated foam protects the drive units from damage. The rear panel is equipped with a sealed, captive-cable and gland. When permanently installed, the Turbosound TCX102-R presents a discreet appearance with no visible side handles for visually unobtrusive loudspeaker arrays. The weatherized paint, zinc plated grill with outdoor powder-coat, and weather-resistant-coated drivers deliver an iP54 rated package that not only provides class-leading performance, but maintains its attractive appearance for long lasting years to come.
