The color black Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK feature an 8-inch, coaxial speaker with BroadBeam Ring^™ technology for continously smooth high frequency sound, designed for open ceiling applications. The enclosure of the Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK is constructed of injection molded ABS with glass fiber reinforcement for lasting durability in indoor or outdoor applications and has an aluminum grille with a protective powder coated finish. The Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK has included the hanging hardware with galvanized steel cables is included and features a built in hanging bracket and screw on cover plate for fast, easy and safe installation. The Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK unit may be hung or mounted direct-to-conduit via the locking cover plate. The Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK speaker includes a ceramic terminal input accepting up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and a 6 position tap switch with transformer bypass position, as well as a 16 ohm impedance for easy daisy chaining in low voltage systems. The Soundtube RS82-EZ-BK is suitable for use in voice alarm applications subject to EU regulations EN60849 and BS5839-8. Hanging hardware, terminal weather boot, and cover plate are included.
