Audix SCX1MP Cardioid Condenser Microphones MIC, COND, STUDIO, SCX SERIES, CARD MATC

The Audix SCX1MP comes with equipped matched pair of SCX1 cardioid condenser microphones. The Audix SCX1MP is a professional studio cardioid condenser microphone that is professionally designed for use in a wide variety recording, live and broadcast sound applications. The Audix SCX1MP is made its name known for its low profile and consistency, pin-point accuracy, and sensitivity.

The Audix SCX1MP is very consistent when responding to on and off-axis signals because it is capable of a smooth uniform frequency response from 40 Hz - 20 kHz, and exhibits minimal proximity effect and excellent phase coherence. The Audix SCX1MP is characterized with a wide cardioid polar pattern; this, partnered with the high output and sensitivity of the microphone making the Audix SCX1MP an ideal choice for orchestral sections, miking overhead, stringed instruments, room ambience, vibes and sound effects, and piano.

Other features include a 21 mm gold vapor capsule miniaturized electronics and an extremely small footprint. The SCX1C will handle sound pressure levels of 130 dB and will provide up to 20 dB of ambient noise rejection. In addition to acoustical instruments, the SCX1C is an excellent choice for group vocals, speech or Foley work. The SCX1C, which is manufactured to exacting standards and tight tolerances, features a precision machined brass body, interchangeable capsules, black multilayer class ‘A’ liquid finish, laser etched model and serial number, Switchcraft® or Audix XLR connector and includes a heavy duty nylon clip.
