Its unique 500 and 200 Hz roll-off filters prove invaluable for managing the proximity effect when capturing close-miked instruments such as guitar amps or double basses. The VIP-60 offers five different polar patterns and a selection of filters and pre-attenuation pads. It is delivered in an SKB 3i waterproof case with a Rycote InVision USM shock mount.
