The DBX 510 Subharmonic Synthesizerm, housed in a convenient 500 series lunchbox-style chassis is designed for enhancing the low end in live sound reinforcement applications, such as for houses of worship, nightclubs, mobile DJs, theaters, concert venues, broadcast, and more. It does this by synthesizing a waveform modeled bass note, exactly one octave below the bass signal of the original audio. In contrast to other forms of low frequency enhancement, this approach does not affect the equalization of the mid or high frequencies.

This DBX 510 module is offering 2-separate bands of bass synthesis, each with a knob for setting the level of the synthesis, as well as a low frequency boost control and an overall subharmonics level control. A synthesis bypass button permits you to A/B the effect of the module on your signals and LED indicators provide visual feedback of the process.
