The DCL-200 from Summit Audio is a dual channel compressor/limiter that is professionally designed along with stereo linking capabilities, it is designed suitable for both live sound and studio environments. The unit is created as a hybrid processor that is using a solid state technology capable of providing reliability, and the vacuum tube amplifier is capable of delivering tube "warmth" and is providing gain to overcome any loss of level during heavy compression, all at the same time.

The DCL-200 is imparting a soft-knee and program-dependent transition characteristic on the source audio, and capable of providing variable threshold, attack and release controls. Selected 12AX7A vacuum tubes along with high reliability 990 op-amps in a transformerless signal path deliver sound that is not sterile, muddy or pinched, but rather clean and precise, and rich in desirable overtones.
