The Universal Audio 1176SA is a small interface designed for use with the calibration of two mono 1176s for stereo operation. The Universal Audio 1176SA was first used and released for the original 1176, but has become increasingly difficult to find for use with either vintage or new 1176s.

The Universal Audio has carefully and professionally recreated the original adapter. The Universal Audio 1176SA rests behind the 1176s, and it is enclosed in a full metal housing for proper shielding, and features a gold-plated connectors. A battery which is two-year is also included. The unit is compatible with both vintage and new models.
