Warm Audio WA76 Fet Compressor

The WA76 from Warm Audio is professionally designed as a modern reproduction of the 1176 revision D limiting amplifier. With its completely discrete signal path and use of the original Reichenbach Engineering's (now CineMag) transformer design, the unit still remains as faithful as possible to the construction of the original classic.

The 1176 was designed as a major breakthrough in limiter technology, being the first true peak limiter that comes along with an all transistor circuitry and capable offering superior performance and a signature sound at the same time. The ultra-fast attack time was and still is a sound coveted by many legendary artists and studio engineers. This reproduction comes including the famous "all buttons in" setting.
