The RCF SUB9004-AS is a professionally designed single 18” high power active subwoofer. It is capable to employ a state of the art transducer that comes featuring a hypervented high power neodymium magnetic circuit along with a 4” voice coil. The extremely high power amplifier is made as a new design that is capable of deliveirng an extended low frequency performance. Due to its rugged construction it is created perfect for AV rental inventories.

RCF RDNet
NETWORKED CONTROL AND MUCH MORE
RDNet is a professionally designed robust management network and control platform intended for use in small, medium and large arena-sized sound systems, as well as complex and extended installations. Based on a proprietary network protocol, RDNet is created capable of providing an intuitive control and monitoring of every connected device/object in the RCF audio system. Each device comes with a DSP for addressing the specific presets or modifications of parameters to single or groups of objects. A network user is possible to change level, delay, EQ (linear phase FiR as well) and other settings, that comes including the advanced subwoofer configurations. RDNet is not only designed for loudspeakers—you are made capable to control parameters and routing of multiple RCF devices, such as digital matrixes or amplifiers.

TOP END ELECTRONICS
The amplifier is capable of integrating a low-noise 32-bit DSP circuit, controlled through the RCF proprietary RDNet network to easily handle the soft clipping limiters, polarity, RMS limits, timing, amplitude and equalization. All the settings, monitoring and advanced features are made available and placed inside the RDNet Networked Management software. The available control panel on the back is for adjusting the input sensitivity, volume, bypass, Low Cut, Xover, delay and presets selection. The regulated power supply is created to guarantee the full power from 100 V to 260 V. The amplifier is housing on a unique Vibrostop floating aluminium panel intended for having an extra protection during transportation.

HYPER VENTILATION SYSTEM
RCF manufactures these components to deliver the cleanest, punchiest, and undistorted low frequencies reproduction. The cone is composed of 30% carbon fibre, 20% fibreglass and 50% cellulose pulp. This particular chemical composition has been carefully developed to improve the robustness and rigidness of the cone avoiding any deformation that would result in a loss of efficiency. The 4.0" inside/outside voice coil is wounded on a strong fibreglass former and guarantees a more efficient cooling. The former is internally and externally reinforced with Nomex that stiffen the overall structure for a better energy transfer between the voice coil and the body cone. In order to dissipate the heat generated by the powerful voice coil, RCF engineers have developed the unique Hyper Ventilation system with very low power compression. The cone is water resistant.

CABINET
The cabinet is made of high-quality birch plywood with weatherproof treatment. The subs are stackable and lightweight, for an easy set-up and tear down. A pole receptacle on the top and side allows the woofer to be used in various configurations. The heavy-duty coating and the rugged structure of the cabinet withstand long-term use and transportation and the separate housing for the amplifier guarantees component efficiency and reliability. Transportation is fast thanks to the detachable Kart kit, a dolly caster-board with rugged tour grade casters and rotating cam mechanism.
