Built using the same acoustic design philosophy as Yamaha’s latest DXS series, the Yamaha CXS18mkIII delivers clear, reliable low-frequency performance in a streamlined passive subwoofer format. Featuring a refined long-excursion driver with an 18-inch woofer and a 4-inch voice coil, it produces punchy, controlled bass with a maximum SPL of 129dB for both portable and installed sound systems.

Yamaha’s optimized bandpass enclosure and advanced port design allow the Yamaha CXS18mkIII to maintain balanced projection and smooth sound coverage across a wide listening area throughout its 32Hz–120Hz frequency range.
