The SS-2002 intercom speaker station offers versatile functionality, allowing use with a headset, built-in speaker, panel microphone, or optional gooseneck microphone. It also accommodates a telephone-style handset for added convenience. With switch-selectable access to two intercom channels, the SS-2002 comes in three versions tailored to different applications. The portable "S" box features a carrying handle and dual "loop-through" intercom connectors, enabling quick interconnection with prefabricated cables. For stationary applications, the "P" box offers dual "loop-through" connectors and is designed for desktop or console-mount use. The "U" box is ideal for permanent, in-the-wall mounting and utilizes push-type wire terminals for easy intercom system connection. Additionally, the SS-2002 is available in a two-channel "RM" version, suitable for desktop use or rack-mounted with the optional RM-14 rack-mount kit.

• Easy Wiring –Via XLR “loop-through” or push-type wiring
  terminal block.
  
• Panel Mic Key – Selects built-in panel microphone or
  gooseneck microphone (when present) when in the On
  position. Select headset/handset when in the Off position.
• Speaker Key – Selects the built-in speaker in the On position
  and the headset/handset when in the Off position.
• Channel Select Switch (SS-2002 only) – Used to switch
  between intercom channels one (1) and two (2).The switch
  lights green for channel one (1) and red for channel two (2).
• Call Key –Used to send call signals on the intercom channel
  and to indicate incoming calls.
• Intercom Talk Key – Only momentary (push-to-talk) is possible
  to reduce feedback.
• Panel Mic Connector – Accepts any MCP-90 series
  microphone.
