QSC AD-C820R SYSTEM 8" High-power coaxial ceiling speaker, 70/100V transformer, includes AD-C820 baffle, AD-C800BB back-box, and AD-C800RG round grille in white.

The AD-C820 and AD-C821 are designed acoustically identical and for public address, music playback and distributed audio in applications requiring an high output from a ceiling mounted loudspeaker. The AcousticDesign™ Series of installation loudspeakers has been designed for versatility and trouble free operation. Both models are using custom designed crossover and transducers networks, in combination with an acoustically optimized enclosure (AD-C800BB), or as a fully integrated, sealed system (AD-C821). The loudspeakers are running with the AD Series philosophy of bringing accurate and natural sound quality combined with reliability and versatility to high-ceiling applications.

The QSC AD-C820 includes a crossover mounted on an ABS baffle, the coentrant transducers and a 70V/100V transformer.When ordered as a system (AD-C820R SYSTEM; AD-C820S SYSTEM) the backbox (AD-C800BB) and a round or square grille are included.

The 8" woofer is crafted with a treated paper cone placed on a steel frame. The usable low frequency of the system, in its optimized enclosure, extends to 52 Hz. The 1.4" compression driver is acoustically mated to the woofer and fires through the center of the woofer for a smooth transition at crossover. The 90 degree axisymmetric coverage is also been achieved by this system. The low tolerance, high-current network components are providing smooth passive, full-range performance. The included custom designed transformer, 70V/100V, is optimized for low line loss as well as transparent and accurate acoustic performance. The AD-C820/C821 loudspeakers measure 91dB sensitivity (1W/1m) and at full continuous power are capable of producing 114 dB SPL (1W/1m) output.
