With an 8" composite-reinforced cone woofer and a 1" titanium dome compression driver for incredibly powerful sound, the black Control 68HP from JBL is a dependable and very-high output pendant speaker with a coaxial two-way configuration, perfect for retail spaces, hotels, casinos, convention centers, exhibit and museum spaces, atriums, public transit locations, or any space with high ceilings and an open architectural style. You can achieve ideal sound in even the most tough and reverberant acoustical situations with its wide, continuous coverage of 110° and its revolutionary single-point suspension system, which uses two galvanized steel cables for secure hanging and easy height adjustment.

With a 1000W peak power input support and a 68W multitap transformer that allows for both direct 8-ohm operation and 70 or 100V distribution modes, the Control 68HP is capable of handling large amounts of power. In controlled outdoor conditions where excessive moisture, dirt, and salt may cause harm to inferior speakers, the IP44 weather classification guarantees safe operation. In addition to two 15' steel cables (one for the primary support and one for the safety backup), spring clips, Gripple-brand adjustable height cable fasteners for attaching to the speaker bracket, two 2-pin Euroblock connectors, and two rubber connector boots for covered outdoor environments, this speaker boasts an incredibly dependable suspension system.
