QSC WL2082-i Installation line array SPEAKER - dual neodymium 8" cone LF (Black or White)

Each Installation Line Array element is using a pair of neodymium magnet, 8" diameter, high-power low-frequency drivers. Both woofers produce low frequencies but only one covers the mid-range resulting in more uniform directivity in the crossover region. A pair of 1.75" (voice coil diameter) neodymium compression drivers with titanium domes, for high frequencies, are mounted on a multiple aperture diffraction waveguide* that is providing extremely wide coverage (140º). The QSC WL2082-i system, as a result, rarely require center fill or additional side speakers and solid stereo imaging is preserved across the listening area. The system may be used in tri-amplified or bi-amplified mode. All in all, the tri-amplified mode will produce the best performance and, for arrays larger than four boxes, will not increase the total cost of system amplification. Available in color black or white, the QSC WL2082-i enclosure is crafted from a high impact polystyrene with extensive internal ribs intended for eliminating acoustic losses due to sidewall flex. In places that is not directly exposed to the elements, the Installation Line Array may be used in outdoor applications, can be installed. The grille is made of aluminum and the woofer cones are weather resistant, and the enclosure material is formulated with UV inhibitors.
