The BLX88 by Shure is a dual-channel tabletop wireless receiver is compatible with two BLX2 handheld transmitters or BLX1 bodypack. The BLX88 is compact and lightweight and it houses internal antennas, and is perfect for portable use.

The BLX88 is featuring a one-touch QuickScan frequency selection for quickly locating a clean frequency in case of interference. It employs microprocessor-controlled diversity technology for minimizing dropouts. BLX systems permit up to 12 mic channels for operating simultaneously in each frequency band, at a range up to 300'.

Located on the front panel, two LED displays show the RF frequency groups and channels, while four LED status indicators inform you when the system is ready to operate and alert you if your audio is clipping. The receiver offers two 1/4" and two XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.
