Shure has designed a GLXD2/SM86 Handheld Transmitter with SM86 Microphone element to work with GLX-D series digital wireless systems. The GLXD2/SM86 is operated on Shure’s Z2 frequency band between 2400 and 2483.5 MHz on a 2.4 GHz ISM wireless band. The transmitter GLXD2/SM86 is providing up to a 200 range of operation and is featuring Shure’s LINKFREQ automatic frequency management allowing it to link automatically to the GLX-D compatible transmitter without the need to perform any additional setup. The GLXD2/SM86 also includes a rechargeable pack of battery with the per charge performance capacity of 16 hours. The battery of GLXD2/SM86 Handheld Transmitter can be recharged with the included USB charger cable or using the integrated charger in the GLXD4 wireless receiver. Upto 1.5 hours of performance time is provided with a 15 minutes charge.
