The VHF (174 to 216 MHz) UA874V Active Directional Antenna designed by Shure uses a log-periodic dipole array to offer increased reception for Shure wireless receivers and antenna distribution systems that offer 10 to 15 VDC bias. The VHF Active Directional Antenna can be used as an integrated amplifier with four gain settings to compensate for varying degrees of coaxial cable signal loss. The VHF UA874 antenna can easily be mounted on a microphone stand, suspended from the ceiling, or can be mounted to a wall.
