dLive Audio Networking Card

As one of several audio networking options, Allen Heath DL-WAVES 3-A Module Networking Card can be fitted to an Allen & Heath dLive I/O Port. Providing a 128x128ch 48/96kHz interface to the Waves SoundGrid networking platform, for many applications including audio distribution, digital mic splitting and Waves plugin processing. It is designed to perform in a super convenient way of recording 128 tracks of 96kHz audio, into a Mac or Windows computer, over a single CAT cable.

Developed by Waves for real-time professional audio applications this Soundgrid is an Audio-over-Ethernet protocol. It performs very well in a very low latency environment by the use of standard Gigabit Ethernet networks. Either on a computer, or on dedicated Waves servers, the plugin processing can be performed natively.
