dLive S Class MixRack

The most distributed and targeted audio scenarios and digital splits and at just 4U, Allen Heath dLive DM0 S Class is the most compact dLive MixRack. It is built and within is the XCVI processing core all equipped and complete with control, audio networking ports and audio I/O. Using any third part controller via TCP/IP, Allen & Heath IP remotes and using a laptop or iPad, this dLive DM0 S Class Mixrack, with a dLive Surface, can be controlled.

Featuring the same mix engine, all dLive MixRacks by adding digital sources or DX expanders, can work with the full 128 channels.


Crafted, enhanced and pioneered by the Allen & Heath R&D team using the next generation technology, the power and capabilities of dLive radiates from the XCVI Core with 36 parallel virtual processing cores producing power capable for 160x64 channels of processing at 96kHz sampling rate. The FPGA router has capacity capable for 3000 x 3000 audio paths, while the Six paralle mixing engines, calculate over 10000 cross points per sample, inside the Core. The XCVI's incredible power (25 billion operations per second) capable of making the dLive to deliver 128 full processing inputs and 16 stereo FX returns, variable bit depth for ultimate precision and noise performance, a configurable 64 bus architecture, thanks to a 96bit accumulator for a virtually infinite mix headroom, and class-leading latency at an ultra-low 0.7ms.

DEEP Processing

Directly inside the dLive's input and mix channels, is where, our DEEP processing architecture which houses class-leading compressors and processing emulations. Graphic EQs, a 64 channel Automatic Mic Mixer(AMM) and Compressors - this array of bespoke algorithms can be inserted on the fly without burning FX slots and without the setup, licence hassle and latency associated with external plug-ins - meaning, that when you need them wherever or whenever they're right there. Audio nuances and non-linear ballistics of industry classics, various RMS detection, ranging from a Slow-Opto model and soft knew circuits, can be captured by the compressor models through to super-fast peak and RMS limiting/compression devices.

RackExtra FX

The RackExtra FX portfolio combines the pristine quality and wide choice offered by boutique plug-ins with the convenience and low latency of onboard processing. It’s no secret that we have a passion bordering on obsession for crafting painstakingly faithful emulations of the most revered outboard equipment. Drawing on the power of the XCVI Core, we have built hugely potent DSP kernels within the FPGA, allowing us to integrate our proven library of reverb, delay and modulator algorithms into dLive, with 16 FX slots available, each with a dedicated stereo return.
