96kHz Modular Expander w/Full Redundancy Option

The Allen Heath dLive DX32 Expander, to every dLive or SQ system, adds remote, modular I/O. To fit a selection of digital or analogue I/O it provides 4x 8 channel slots.

Via a single Cat5e cable to the dLive Surface, SQ Slink port, Mixrack or via a secure etherCON port DX Hub this Allen Heath dLive DX32 Expander can be connected. For redundant connection to compatible dLive hardware, two cable can be used for connection.

With dLive
Directly to a dLive MixRack, up to 2 Allen Heath dLive DX32 Expander can be connected directly, and more Allen Heath dLive DX32 Expander can also be connected to the Surface. Via a DX Hub or DX Link card, more units can be added to a dLive system.

With SQ
Directly to an SQ Slink port, a single Allen Heath dLive DX32 can be connected. Via a DX Hub, 4 units can be added to an SQ system.

Available I/O Modules

M-AIN
For balanced and unbalanced microphone and line level signals it is equipped with 8 recallable preamps with XLR connectors. Within the preamp, Pad, Gain and 48V are digitally controlled.

M-AOUT
8 line level, balanced XLR outputs. To prevent power on or off thumps, the outputs are relay protected.

M-DIN
On XLR with SRC(32kHz - 192kHz sampling rate) there are 4x stereo AES3 inputs. For 96kHz operation, Sample Rate Conversion can be bypassed.

M-DOUT
4x stereo AES3 outputs on XLR (44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz or 96kHz switchable).
