Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A 128 x 128 96k gigaACE Card (dLive)
There are several audio networking options that can be fitted to any Allen & Heath dLive I/O Port and the Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A gigaACE audio networking card is one of it. It is working to provide a 128x128ch 96kHz gigaACE point-to-point link to another dLive mixing system.
Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A gigaACE with the use of standard CAT cables, is Allen & Heath’s proprietary protocol for transporting Audio and Control over Ethernet. It allows cable redundancy and very low lantecy without any audio dropout. The Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A gigaACE is working with just over the same connection making it to tunnel the dLivie TCP/IP control network, and by the use of a single laptop it can enable control of either of the two systems.
Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A gigaACE card is replacing the copper analogue / multicore splitters of the past as it is a cost-effective and simple solution for digital split applications. In a typical Monitor / FoH configurations, the inputs of a dLive system are sent to a second system where independent processing, mixing and trim is applied.
With Allen Heath M-DL-GACE-A gigaACE no computer is required for the setup of gigaAce connections, making it a truly plug 'n play protocol. With just a simple steps: simply plug the cable between any two dLive systems and set the patch and clock settings straight to the mixer.
