They are a Part of the comprehensive family of Atlona 4K HDR integration products, these 4×6, 6×8, and 8×10 matrix switchers are HDCP 2.2 compliant and able to support 4K/UHD video @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, as well as HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps. The Opus Series is enabling the flexible routing to HDBaseT outputs plus two additional HDMI outputs, and is compatible with the Atlona AT-OPUS-RX receiver or AT-JUNO-451-HDBT switcher for transmission of HDMI, Ethernet pass-through, and bidirectional IR and RS-232 control signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over CAT6a/7 cable. Over HDBaseT with no latency, the Visually lossless VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC) enables HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 signal extension. Opus matrix switchers are designed equipped with a control system integration features and comprehensive host of audio making them ideal for a wide range of residential and commercial applications requiring multi-zone AV distribution.
Advanced AV Signal Distribution and Integrator-Friendly Features
By the use of Power over Ethernet (PoE), all of HDBaseT outputs is able to be powered remotely the OPUS-RX receivers. These matrix switchers features a flexible, independent audio matrix switcher designed for routing TOSLINK, analog stereo audio sources, and de-embedded HDMI input audio, plus by using the AT-OPUS-RX receiver it is able to return audio from a television to parallel TOSLINK digital and analog audio outputs. Flexible control capability is provided by the GUI-based integrated web server, supplied IR remote, and front panel control, as well as remote displays over HDBaseT, a control system, and IR integration between locally connected sources. Opus Series matrix switchers are designed and housed in a 2U enclosure with ultra-quiet, active cooling to ensure continuous reliability.
(Note: Opus matrix switchers de-embed HDMI two-channel PCM audio. For extracting and downmixing Dolby® and DTS® audio, Atlona recommends the AT-HDR-M2C or AT-HDR-M2C-QUAD audio converters.)
