The HD I/O DA Option from Avid is professionally designed as an expansion board that is capable of adding eight analog outputs to the Avid HD I/O. It is dependent on the current configuration of the HD I/O chassis, the expansion option is capable to add additional analog outputs either as an add-on, or by swapping out existing boards.
