Power demanding live productions with the Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD Live Production Switcher. Built into a compact 1 RU rackmount chassis, this professional switcher supports up to 10 independent 3G/HD-SDI inputs, delivering the flexibility and performance required for broadcast studios, live events, sports productions, corporate presentations, and houses of worship. Supporting both 3G-SDI and HD-SDI signals, the switcher connects to a wide variety of professional cameras and video sources. Six 3G-SDI BNC program outputs provide flexible signal distribution, while the USB-C webcam output enables direct connection to computers for streaming, video conferencing, and recording applications.

A built-in multiview output supports up to 16 routable windows, allowing operators to monitor camera inputs, keyed video, graphics, still images from the media pool, and the program output simultaneously. Every SDI input feeds into the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, which supports up to 28 audio channels for professional live audio mixing. Designed for maximum compatibility, each input includes its own frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter. This allows seamless switching between cameras with different formats, cameras without genlock, and computer video sources. A dedicated reference video input provides synchronization for professional production environments.

Professional production features such as upstream and downstream keyers and live effects processing are performed in real time without rendering delays. Operators can control the switcher directly from the integrated front panel, optional Blackmagic ATEM hardware control panels, or the downloadable ATEM Software Control.
