Produce professional UHD live broadcasts with the Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation UHD 4K Live Production Switcher. Designed for high-end live events, broadcast studios, sports productions, corporate presentations, and houses of worship, this powerful 1 RU switcher combines UHD 4K capability with professional 12G-SDI connectivity and advanced live production tools. Featuring 10 independent 12G-SDI inputs, the switcher supports 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HD-SDI video signals, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of professional cameras and production equipment. Program output is available through six 12G-SDI outputs, while the USB-C webcam output enables direct connection to computers for streaming, conferencing, and recording workflows.

A dedicated multiview output supports up to 16 routable windows, allowing operators to monitor camera inputs, keyed video, graphics, media pool stills, and the program output simultaneously from a single display. Every input connects directly to the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, supporting up to 28 audio channels for professional live audio mixing. Each video input also features an independent frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter, allowing cameras with different video standards, frame rates, and formats—including cameras without genlock and computer video sources—to be switched seamlessly.

Professional production features including upstream and downstream keyers, real-time effects processing, and live switching are performed instantly without rendering delays. The switcher can be operated using the integrated front panel, optional Blackmagic ATEM hardware control panels, or the downloadable ATEM Software Control application.
