Handle complex live productions with confidence using the Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD Live Production Switcher. Built into a compact 1 RU rackmount chassis, this professional live production switcher supports up to 20 independent 3G/HD-SDI inputs, making it ideal for broadcast studios, live events, sports productions, concerts, corporate presentations, and houses of worship. Compatible with both 3G-SDI and HD-SDI video sources, the switcher connects to a wide variety of professional cameras and production equipment. It provides 12 independent 3G-SDI BNC program outputs for flexible signal distribution, along with a USB-C webcam output for direct connection to computers used for streaming, conferencing, and recording.

The ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD features two multiview outputs, each capable of displaying up to 16 routable windows. Monitor camera inputs, keyed video, graphics, media pool stills, and the program output simultaneously for complete production oversight. Every SDI input routes directly into the built-in Fairlight audio mixer, supporting up to 48 audio channels for professional live audio mixing. Each input also includes an independent frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter, allowing seamless switching between cameras using different formats, cameras without genlock, and computer video sources. A dedicated reference video input provides synchronization for professional broadcast workflows.

Advanced production tools including upstream and downstream keyers and real-time effects processing allow graphics and transitions to be applied instantly without rendering. The switcher can be operated using the integrated front panel, optional Blackmagic ATEM hardware control panels, or the downloadable ATEM Software Control application.
