Manage large-scale live productions with the Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD Live Production Switcher. Built into a professional 2 RU rackmount chassis, this high-performance live production switcher supports up to 40 independent 3G/HD-SDI inputs, making it an ideal solution for broadcast studios, sports productions, concerts, live events, corporate productions, and houses of worship.

Supporting both 3G-SDI and HD-SDI video signals, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD connects to a wide range of professional cameras and production equipment. It provides 24 independent 3G-SDI BNC program outputs for flexible signal distribution, along with a USB-C webcam output for direct connection to computers used for live streaming, conferencing, and recording. The switcher features four independent multiview outputs, each capable of displaying up to 16 routable windows. Operators can monitor camera inputs, keyed video, graphics, media pool still images, and the program output simultaneously for complete production awareness.

Every SDI input routes directly into the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, which supports up to 156 audio channels for advanced live audio production. Each input also includes its own frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter, allowing seamless switching between cameras using different formats, cameras without genlock, and computer video sources. A dedicated reference video input further supports synchronized professional broadcast workflows. Professional production tools such as upstream and downstream keyers and real-time effects processing allow graphics, titles, transitions, and layered effects to be applied instantly without rendering delays. The switcher can be controlled using the integrated front panel, optional Blackmagic ATEM hardware control panels, or the downloadable ATEM Software Control application.
