Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G
The Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G is a compact, professional-grade converter that makes it easy to connect SDI broadcast equipment to HDMI monitors, televisions, and displays. Designed for live production, broadcasting, post-production, and AV installations, it delivers reliable, high-quality signal conversion while providing advanced monitoring features for professional workflows. Featuring one SD/HD/3G-SDI input, one HDMI output, and a dedicated 3G-SDI loop output, the converter allows you to monitor SDI video on HDMI displays while simultaneously passing the original SDI signal to additional broadcast equipment. This makes it an ideal solution for production monitoring, video distribution, and studio setups. A built-in 17-point 3D LUT enables accurate colour calibration for HDMI and SDI monitors, allowing you to preview colour-corrected images with greater confidence. The converter can also output the LUT through the SDI loop output, providing consistent monitoring across multiple displays during production.
The converter automatically detects SD, HD, and 3G-SDI Level A and Level B signals, ensuring seamless compatibility with a wide range of professional broadcast equipment. It also supports numerous video standards, including cinema-style 48 fps, making it suitable for both broadcast and cinematic production environments. Built with a rugged metal enclosure, the Micro Converter is designed to withstand demanding studio and field conditions. Integrated LED status indicators provide instant confirmation of power and signal activity, allowing for quick setup and easy troubleshooting. The convenient USB-C port enables the converter to be powered directly from compatible monitors, laptops, desktop computers, projectors, or other USB power sources, offering flexible deployment in virtually any production environment. For permanent installations, it can also be powered using an optional 100–240V AC power supply with international plug adapters.
Whether you're monitoring SDI signals on HDMI displays, calibrating production monitors, or integrating HDMI screens into professional broadcast workflows, the Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G delivers dependable performance, accurate colour monitoring, and exceptional workflow flexibility.
