Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G (with Power Supply)
The Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G is a compact, professional-grade converter that lets you connect SDI broadcast equipment to HDMI monitors, televisions, and projectors with ease. Designed for live production, broadcasting, post-production, and AV installations, it delivers reliable SDI-to-HDMI conversion while providing advanced monitoring features for professional workflows. Equipped with one SD/HD/3G-SDI input, one HDMI output, and a dedicated 3G-SDI loop output, the converter allows you to monitor SDI video on HDMI displays while simultaneously passing the original SDI signal to additional equipment. This makes it ideal for production monitoring, signal distribution, and broadcast environments where dependable performance is essential.
A built-in 17-point 3D LUT enables precise colour calibration for HDMI and SDI monitors, helping you view accurate colours and consistent image quality throughout production. The LUT can also be output through the SDI loop output, allowing multiple displays to share the same calibrated image for improved workflow consistency. The converter automatically detects SD, HD, and 3G-SDI Level A and Level B signals, ensuring seamless compatibility with a wide range of professional broadcast equipment. It also supports numerous broadcast standards, including 48 fps cinematic frame rates, making it suitable for both television and cinema production.
Built with a durable metal enclosure, the Micro Converter is designed to withstand demanding studio and on-location environments. Integrated LED status indicators provide instant confirmation of power and signal activity, simplifying setup and troubleshooting. The convenient USB-C port allows the converter to be powered from compatible monitors, laptops, desktop computers, projectors, or other USB power sources. For immediate deployment, it also includes a 100–240V AC power supply with four international plug adapters, making it ready for professional productions around the world. Whether you're connecting SDI cameras to HDMI displays, calibrating production monitors, or integrating HDMI screens into professional broadcast systems, the Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G delivers dependable performance, accurate colour monitoring, and exceptional workflow flexibility.
