BOSCH LBB4442/00 Line Supervision Set

The Praesideo system comes using a unique loudspeaker line monitoring principle, which are not requiring any additional cable. The loudspeaker line itself is used for communicating with the supervision-slave installed at the end of the loudspeaker line. The LBB 4442/00 is made for containing the master and slave device intended for supervision of a single loudspeaker line. For supervision of multiple loudspeaker line branches and loudspeakers, the use of the LBB 4440/00 Supervision Control Board in conjunction along with the LBB 4441/00 and LBB 4443/00 Supervision Boards is recommended.

Each amplifier channel in an LBB 442x/x0 or PRS-xPxxx Power Amplifier unit comes with an internal mechanical and electrical provision designed for an LBB 4442/00 master board. The slave board comes fitting into the Bosch range of loudspeakers and possible to be mounted in the last speaker in the line or in a separate housing at the end of the line. The short-to-ground and short circuit detection for the lines are incorporated in the power amplifier. Line faults are made detected and reported within 100 s. The pilot tone generator designed for speaker monitoring is generated in the amplifier and is powering the slave unit. Line monitoring are possible to be switched on and off from the configuration software.
