Crown CT8SHO Amplifier Accessories
The The CT8SHO amplifier switcher is designed for giving the users of public address systems confidence that the system their using is healthy and operational. For the first time at a very affordable price, the public address system industry has made an alternative to proprietary amplifier switching technology.
The Crown CT8SHO has 8 speaker outputs, 8 primary amplifier inputs (which connect to the amplifier outputs), and of course 8 backup amplifier inputs (which connect to the amplifier outputs). The Crown CT8SHO is able to be connected to the Hi-Z output (70V/100V) of amplifier and capable to handle up to 160VRMS, 20A continuous for each channel.
The Crown CT8SHO is able to switch the failed channel to an idle backup channel during the event of a failed channel detection. The unit will switch the backup channel right back to the primary channel when the primary amplifier channel is back online. All switch operations and errors will be reported to the management software. CT16S hardware is supporting back up ratios ranging from 8:1 to 1:1.
The GPIO’s programmable series is able to used for connecting the Crown CT8SHO to external control devices. A total of 5 control outputs and 16 control inputs are built into the CT16S for providing enough control inputs for emergency use. In addition to the GPIO, an Ethernet connector is provided for additional control and configuration.
