DBX Active direct box ensures audio signals reach their destination in both a balanced format and free from unwanted noise DI1 

You can plug your high-impedance gear into low-impedance equipment using the DBX DI1 Active Direct Box. The DI1 takes the high-impedance signal which comes from instruments and other unbalanced TS or XLR sources and transforms it into a low-impedance balanced XLR signal using phantom power or a 9V battery from your mixing board or interface. Without losing high-end articulation or picking up interference the low-impedance balanced signals can drive long cables.
