Test a variety of cables with the CT-2 Cable Tester manufactured by DBX. The CT-2 can test many common connectors such as speaker twist/Speakon, XLR, phono, MIDI/5-pin DIN, TS/TRS BNC, DMX, and banana connectors. A six-position rotary selector with individual LEDs lets you test up to five pins in a cable. The rotary also permits you for checking the internal battery life.

 This CT-2 cable tester also permits you for testing cables with different connectors at each end. For example, you can test a TRS to XLR cable by plugging in each end to its suitable port. With illuminated LED indicators and a easy rotary dial, you can quickly establish whether a cable is wired and functioning correctly, or if it is dead and needs to be replaced or repaired. A single 9V battery is needed for operation (available separately).
