The Electro Voice SMP-400, or the Telex Soundmate SMP-400, is designed as a portable, battery-operated, VHF wireless personal monitoring system, that is packed into a professional carrying case with a foam-padded interior. The system is designed for easier operation and light weigh of the principal components, 300' operating range, and clarity of sound.
The Electro Voice SMP-400 system is designed consisting of the PST-170 transmitter which is operating on one of 17 selectable frequencies, frequency agile SR-400 portable receivers, 4 17-channel, with companion HED-2 collapsible headphones, and the HM-2 headworn microphone, which comse with a lightweight, discreet, behind-the-head headband. The case and 10 "AA" batteries are also part of the package.
The Electro Voice SMP-400 is professionally designed as a low cost alternative solution for museum and bus tours, theatrical assistive listening or house of worship applications, and conferencing situations that are involving multi-client, multi-user translation needs.
