JBL CSM-21 2 x 1 Stereo/Mono Public Address Mixer

The JBL CSM-21 2 x 1 Stereo/Mono Public Address Mixer is designed as a digital commercial mixer for use in hospitality, conferencing and retail applications. The JBL CSM-21 features one line input for connecting the mixer to a building's alarm system and two stereo music inputs with bass and treble equalizers. Also, it is equipped with one microphone input with a ducker, gain control and phantom power that can lower the volume of the music when making announcements.

JBL CSM-21 Mixer also features one stereo output with an active crossover, a separate subwoofer out and a zone equalizer. You can switch between source 1, source 2, and remote control with the turn of a knob, because it is designed with a simple analog style control panel for an easy use. To prevent changes to the unit's controls once configured, there is an included security plate that can be installed over the panel.

To allow the users for remote adjusting the volume level and input source, this mixer is also designed with optional CSM remote wall controllers. More output zones is possible, and may be added, to the system by connecting multiple CSM mixers together by the use of a Cat5 cable plugged into the unit's RJ-45 link ports. As all said, with those features mentioned, this mixer is surely providing flexible options for different sound applications such is in yoga studios, retail stores, restaurant and other commercial establishments.

LevelGuard

LevelGuard optimizes the compression of incoming source signals to keep the overall output signal under control. The threshold of the LevelGuard is adjustable by turning the threshold pot on the front of the mixer

AutoWarmth

AutoWarmth optimizes the tonal balance and musical character of incoming source signals

Mic Minimum

The mic minimum trim pot sets the minimum output volume level for the microphone. The main mic volume control knob will not go below this level, ensuring the microphone can be heard during announcements

Source 1 Priority and Priority Hold

The source 1 priority on/off button determines whether audio from source 1 will override audio from source 2. The priority hold pot adjusts the time it takes for the other input sources to take over after the priority source is finished, such as when the music resumes after a page is complete

Limiter

A built-in limiter prevents the signal from clipping

Mono and Stereo Operation

A push button switches the output of the mixer between mono and stereo

Music Volume Ducking for Microphone Announcements

The mixer allows you to adjust the ducking depth for lowering the music volume while using the microphone input for paging or to make announcements. The ducking depth can be set between cutting the music out completely to no ducking at all during announcements

Remote Controls

The mixer can be controlled by the optional JBL CSM remote controls CSM-V, CSR-2SV, and CSR-3SV which connect to the mixer's RJ-45 remote port
